Hi, welcome to our website!
My name is Laura. Let me tell you a little about myself. Between my husband and I, we have seven children and seven grandchildren.
In 2006 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer. Doctors said I couldn't be saved, but that my quality of life would be improved.
God carried me through as He always has because, after several surgeries, complications, 3 years of chemotherapy, and depression, I survived. I've been in remission since November 2009. Now I live with an inoperable benign tumor. Every day I wake up with gratitude and joy in my heart. I proudly share my story with those that will listen and hope to inspire others to do the same. It's given me a passion to spread happiness to others.
In February of 2020, a co-worker at my job asked if I would like to learn how to decorate an arch for Valentine's Day. I love balloons, so I was eager to learn. I enjoyed watching it come together so much that I decided I wanted to learn how to make other arrangements as well. I love meeting new people, so this has opened great opportunities to meet fellow Houstonians!
